VISION
We started out as local house churches groups that came together to launch a Sunday morning gathering. Our church gatherings on Sunday’s are a simple and hospitable larger version of those small groups in a local house.
We exist to announce the arrival of the Kingdom of God by collectively living out the way of Jesus. To proclaim the whole gospel of Jesus for the whole world and to work for measurable change in the world.
Who are we?
| Jesus Centered | Q: What does this mean? A: We may disagree on so many things BUT for all of us Jesus is at the center. We strive to make the Main Thing the actual Main Thing.
| Practicing the Way of Christ | Q: What does this mean? A: Putting Jesus at the Center and following Him means we strive to live out His ways in the world around us. For example, love over fear. grace over being judgmental. etc. You get it. If Jesus is at the center… we shouldn’t be a jerk.
| Creating Space for Heaven to invade Earth | Q: What does this mean? A: Our everyday lives are opportunities for us to become aware of the work God is already doing in the world.
Values:
Alongside of striving to place Jesus at the Center of everything we do. There are specific values we proclaim and embody as a local church community.
Wholeness: We believe that Jesus was born, lived, died, and rose again to restore all of us and creation. We are whole people. With hearts, minds, bodies, souls, and all of it matters.
Service: We value living lives that serve others above ourselves. Jesus was the servant and gave his life as a ransom for all. We value living our lives in the same way. Are we great at it? Not in every moment of life but we value this way of living.
Celebration: Life is a gift. Jesus came to bring us life and life to the fullest. Our gatherings are random, fun, and full of energy. We value living life as if everything we have is a gift from God.
Rooted: We value living with the understanding that there were thousands/millions of our Christian family that came before us. Some of them were crazy but they are family. As a church we value hearing and wrestling will all of the various thoughts, ideas, perspectives from the wide stream that is the Christian faith. We also value grounding ourselves in the bedrock of our faith… the person of Jesus Christ. The second person of the Trinity. We are not our own and we are thankful for that.
What should you expect during our gatherings?
-relaxed & hospitable environment; welcome to all
-music with full contemporary band
-scripture reading & teaching
-children’s ministry teaching & activity for kids aged toddler – 4th grade.
-children gather with their families to start our worship gathering during the music & then they are dismissed to Koinonia Kids ministry prior to the teaching.

We have now returned to BOTH in-person AND online gatherings via ZOOM. We gather together in person for worship, conversation, teaching, communion, and prayer.
